I had the wonderful opportunity to test out a new fitness trend that is sweeping through California, Florida, and the NorthEast (especially New York)! I wanted to see for myself if SoulCycle was all hype or legit... So I went and paid 40$ to experience one of the coolest workouts available in East Hampton and probably the country.
Cycling in itself is an incredible endurance tester due to the resistance it puts on your legs therefore allowing those muscles to expand and contract rapidly to increase the workout. Soulcycle creates an intimate space with lowlights and candles, intense pulsing music (which makes you feel like a boss) amazing rhythms/moves for the whole body, and a zealous trainer who wants you working the whole 45 minutes. When you get out you feel like A) you just worked out with a cult and B) Whatever that cult was, you want to be a part of it. I have never sweat more in a group workout than I did when I walked out of that class. You truly get what you paid for, and I encourage everyone to try SoulCycle at least once! It is expensive to keep something like that up so I see it as a more beneficial workout every once in a while.. The people are incredible, the workout gear is insane, and the workout is the best part... If I lived near SoulCycle I would definitely join that cult...
